Convert Song Competition

Salam everybody ^^

Our T-Dev bureau had organized a 'convert song competition' on last 23rd of October. The participants were the seniors only because our juniors  haven't finish their theory class syllabus yet. There'll be money for the winners. RM50 for the 1st place, followed by RM30 and RM20 for the 2nd and 3rd place.

So, what was the song that going to be converted? It was Baby by Justin Bieber..! Actually, FYI.. I had known in advance that it's gonna be this song.hihi..but don't worry, I'm not one of the participants anyway..=)

Plus, the judges said they already know who's the winner! Wohoo! but, still..it's a secret. So, do wait for the next entry to know who's the winner. Ok? Bubbye..see yaa..

This is what the music sheet looks like before it be converted to the angklung score which we called 'partitur'..

Salam Eidul Adha

Salam Eidul Adha from IIUM Angklung Club ^^
For those who do not finish their mid-term yet. Don't forget to study..may ALLAH bless all of us..

Student Carnival [19-22 Oct]

Salam.

Like previous years, our club had open up a booth to introduce Angklung Club to the people of IIUM. For this year, our booth was in front of Double A printing at IIUM centre and we shared the booth with Theatre Club and Poetry Club. Alhamdulillah, there are lots people pay visit to our booth. =)

We were given the opportunity to perform for the opening. For the first time, the performers were all are girls! We had to play the bass angklungs ourselves.huhu..well, usually the boys will play bass because the angklungs are big and quite heavy..anyway, we manage to perform well enough even though there are quite a number of mistakes here and there. Still, it needs to be improves then..

On 22nd of October, the closing ceremony took place around 2.30 pm..Finally, we want to say 'thank you' to those who had come and drop by at our booth.Really appreciate ur support.. ^^
